After graduating from the University of Florida and the Thomas
M. Cooley School of Law, Mr. Marne clerked for Newsom and
Associates before becoming a founding member of Newsom, Giffen &
Marne. In 2001 Mr. Marne created the Marne Law Group,
P.C., a law firm dedicated to
championing consumer rights and the protection everyday people.
Mr. Marne is admitted to
the State Bar of California,
the State Bar of Texas, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
As lead trial counsel, Mr. Marne has tried a
cases throughout California (Alameda, Los Angeles, Marin, San
Francisco, Sacramento, Orange, and Contra Costa counties).
Mr. Marne is a
member of the San Francisco Bar Association, Marin County Bar
Association, and the Marin Legal Aid Society. Mr.
Marne is also a recipient of the Marin Legal Aid Society Award
for Pro Bono legal services and the Wiley W. Manuel Award.
The Marne Law Group is also the only private legal service
provider in Marin County listed with the
Marin Green Business Listings. PERSONAL
Mr. Marne is married with three children. He and his
family live in San Anselmo, California where he enjoys spending
time with his family, fishing and restoring classic cars.
He also enjoys reading, painting, golfing, and playing his
guitar.
